DocketDoc is a physician-led medical review and expert services company built to bring clarity to complex medical matters.
We help patients understand whether their medical records may support further evaluation, and we help attorneys access the qualified medical experts, analysis, and case support they need to make more informed decisions.
Because before anyone can properly evaluate the legal questions, someone has to understand the medicine.
Dr. Jeffrey Weinzweig, a plastic surgeon with over 25 years’ experience and an internationally recognized expert in his field, is the Founder and Chief Medical Officer of DocketDoc.
Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of numerous prestigious professional societies, Dr. Weinzweig is one of the most prolific authors in his specialty, with six textbooks, more than 200 peer-reviewed articles and chapters, and 22 patents to his credit.
Dr. Weinzweig earned his undergraduate degree from Columbia University, his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and completed his residency training in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at the University of Chicago and Brown University, respectively. He also completed fellowships in craniofacial surgery and hand surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Connecticut, respectively.
Through decades of hands-on surgical practice, academic leadership, and medico-legal consulting, Dr. Weinzweig has developed a rare and comprehensive understanding of medical decision-making, standards of care, and clinical risk.
This perspective allows him to evaluate complex malpractice matters with exceptional precision and objectivity to determine medical merit, causation, and defensibility.
In partnership with Silverback Legal LLP, and also serving at its Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Weinzweig ensures that each case is grounded in sound medicine, supported by credible expert analysis, and positioned for effective legal representation.

For patients, that means a clearer way to determine whether the medical evidence may warrant further review.
For attorneys, it means better access to qualified medical experts, stronger case organization, and physician-led support.
For every matter, it means placing objective medical judgment at the center of the process.
